Job Description:
Desired Background:
- You can design & implement scalable, resilient backend microservices
- You can implement a reliable monitoring stack for your services
- You can setup & maintain the CI / CD pipelines for your services
- You are familiar with the AWS cloud ecosystem
- You are familiar or open to learning the container & Kubernetes ecosystem
- You can plan, estimate, and own the deliveries of your project
- You can collaborate with the engineering and product teams to deliver the right strategic and tactical goals for the business
Required Skills:
- Ability to choose the right algorithm, data structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
- Experience and understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis or similar
- Experience in building backend microservices
- Experience working with managed cloud providers, such as AWS
- Experience building products on the JVM stack using either Java or Kotlin
- Experience or familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem is a plus
- Experience working with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
